Nanny Love
The Placement Process

Nanny Love Top Quality Nanny & Au Pair Placement

In order to make the optimal match between the family and the nanny / au pair, Nanny Love’s placement process examines the nanny / au pair in several levels. Because we know from experience that each family’s needs are different and each child’s needs are unique, we do our best to get to know as much as we can about the nanny / au pair, the family and the child. Our first and foremost commitment is to the child and the family in locating a quality nanny / au pair. But we are also committed to the nannies / au pairs in making sure they receive sufficient compensation and good working conditions.

The Nanny / Au pair

Telephone interview – the first stage is a telephone interview with the nanny / au pair in order for us to start collecting information and getting to know her.

In-depth interview and personality testing – the nanny / au pair is invited for an in-depth interview that includes a series of personality tests, including projection tests. During the interview the nanny / au pair provides us with a list of all recent employers.

Recommendation checkup – we carefully examine the candidate’s recommendations and confirm the details she provided. However, we realize that recommendations are subjective and that a nanny / au pair can be perfect for one family and a mismatch for another. We interview the past employees thoroughly to make sure they are reliable and that the nanny / au pair actually worked for them.

Psychologist – nannies / au pairs that pass the last step are invited to an interview with a psychologist and the end of which the psychologist writes a detailed report including personality characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, which kind of a job she is best suited for etc.

Letter of Good Conduct – nannys / au pairs are requested to produce a Letter of Good Conduct from the police to ascertain that they do not have a criminal record.

The Family

An initial interview with the family – to start the procedure we get to know the family and the baby/child as much as we can, including what their needs are, how they see the perfect nanny, what are the technical requirements (cleaning, help with older children, etc.). Only then do we send candidates for the nanny job.

Sending candidates to the family – once we’ve learned what the family’s needs are and what kind of nanny / au pair they require, we can send the most appropriate candidates for the family to chose from. To save the family’s valuable time, we do not send just any nanny / au pair from our list, but only ones that fit the family profile.

Finding the nanny / au pair for you – In choosing the nanny / au pair, we leave the final decision to the family. We wish to stress that the only employee/employer relations are between the family and the nanny / au pair and Nanny Love is not a legal side.

Personal service - The placement process does not end when a nanny / au pair is placed in a family. We stay in the picture until both the family and the nanny is happy with the match. Guarantee – In the event that within 3 months of the initial placement the nanny’s position is terminated and not due to changes in employment conditions, we will find the family a new nanny / au pair at no additional charge.
